Matchbook Swap and Dresser Tray

Dresser Tray

I spent a few hours yesterday pulling out all sorts of goodies to put in the matchbox. I filled a basket and when I found the box I'm going to use, all this stuff will just not fit (very big grin) I will have to get very creative.

I had mentioned in an earlier post that I had lost my camera. Well, last weekend I bought a new one and I have been learning all the great features this camera has.

This is a picture of my dresser tray. The tray, I believe, was part of a set my mother received in 1941. I remember seeing trinket and powder boxes on her dresser when I was young. The tray is celluloid and she gave it to me in 2005. The lace doily on the tray was also my mother's.

Gorgeous vanity tray! I love that green color and deco look! I'm just a sucker for vintage vanity pretties!
