The Pink Crochet Collection

I have given many crocheted items to family and friends over the years, but anything pink always went to my Mother and Mother-in-law.

My Mother-in-Law's favourite colour was pink and she was also a great collector of vintage pieces. My Father-in-Law was also a collector and the two of them had a great time going to sales, flea markets and auctions.

My Mother's favourite colour is turquoise, but pink is a close second. She also loves roses and butterflies.

Here is a collection of a few of the items I crocheted and gave to each of them in the late '70's

Two sachets: Ecru crochet with pink rose and ribbons and Ecru chrochet with pink lace and ribbon. Both of these were made for my Mother-in-Law

The pink crochet apron and the butterfly towel which is one of two, were also made for my Mother-in-law

A crocheted Christmas Ornament was given to my Mom and Mother-in-law. It containes a picture of my sons

The pink crocheted cushion has an ecru butterfly in the centre. The cushion is cream satin.

The sachet is ecru filet crochet with the rose pattern hand painted. Both of these were gifts for my Mother
