Photos, Books, Glitter and Friends

On Saturday I spent some time and took pictures of the Pink collection and also my purse collection. I find the flash is sometimes too bright and the pictures either don't turn out or need some colour correction. The pink pictures just needed a quick fix in Photoshop for colour, but the purses were a total loss. Sunday was overcast so I decided to take some photos outside. I got wonderful shots and will post the purse collection at a later date. My husband suggested that I try a piece of nylon over the flash and see if it helps. Will have to give it a try.

Lately I have been reading books by Sandra Evertson. I have three of her books, Fanciful Paper Projects: Making your own Posh Little Follies is my favourite. The instant memories; Birthdays and Babies are great books for clip art, ideas and scrapbooking. I am looking forward to getting her new book Fanciful Paper Flowers: Creative Techniques for Crafting an Enchanted Garden. Check Sandra out at Paris Flea Market

While rummaging through some boxes of stuff I found almost a pound of Diamond Dust. I had bought it years ago at a Ceramic store and can't remember why now. I checked on goggle and found out that it's crushed glass glitter. I will be giving it a try to see how it looks.

I will leave you with a picture of a few of my cuddly friends.
