My Purse and Bag Collection

I have been making and collecting small fancy purses and bags for around 10 years now. It all started with a small crocheted thimble pouch and slowly progressed from there. The only criteria that I have for my collection is the purse has to be handmade by me or I receive it as a gift. This first picture is my collection this is the little thimble pouch that started it all

The is the second little purse I crocheted.

A little beaded amulet bag. I ended up making six more of these for gifts

This little purse was bead knitting. I really enjoyed making it.

A beaded cross-stitch bag on paper canvass

A little beaded change purse that was a gift from my dear cousin Dianne

Another little purse that was a gift from my sweet niece Tamara

A beaded purse from my friend Joyce

This beaded purse belonged to my mom

The next two purses were given to me by my husbands Aunt Thelma

This purse was given to me by Catie over at Catiean & Company She was my partner in the art doll swap. I had pictures of my purses on Flickr and when she saw this one at a sale, she bought it and sent it with my doll.

Hi Karen, first of all thank you for the kind and beautiful comments you always leave on my blog. I see your comments on other blogs and they are always so thoughtful. I love, love your bags, especially being a bag collector myself. Yours are beautiful and meaningful, I love the ones you made and your mothers bag, just precious. Take Care - Rachael - xo
