St. Mary Mead Garden Club

Louise over at Beachys CapeCod Cupboard issued a challenge to use a photograph she found in an English album. Here is my offering

All graphics were edited by me in Photoshop and obtained from Dover and Memories of a Lifetime

My name is Thelma May Littleton and I'm so excited. This year at our annual election meeting, I was voted in as President of The St. Mary Mead Garden Club. Having been a member for the last five years this is a great honour and one I will treasure always. I hope to live up to the expectations of the club and with the help of all our members, we can work towards entering the national flower trials in London next spring.

When I received my copy of the group picture I just had to record memories of this special day in my scrap album

Here is the text from the scrap page
Membership

Front Row
Secretary Lydia Rose Crompton
President Thelma May Littleton
Treasurer Sarah Ann Emerson

Back Row

Violet Eileen Greenwell
Abigail Hope Renshaw
Marie Louise Pendell
Elizabeth Grace Barrington
Margaret Bella Alderson

Congratulations Karen and what a beautiful scrap album page. You must have a lovely garden, you will have to show and tell!

That is fabulous! I LOVE what you did - very precious! Thank you for participating! I hope to do another challenge after the holidays using a wedding photo from the same album (some of the same ladies are in the photo, too)! I've put a link on my sidebar of the participants for today's challenge. =)

What I like is that every one has made something completely different with this picture. Yes, these pictures do tempt our imagination. I bought a large pile of old pictures in Belgium last weekend (should appear in my blog somewhere saturday I guess). I almost think of recreating my past...hahaha!
You did a nice job!
Love LiLi M.
