Finally, 7 more things about me and an Award

I would like to thank Catie from Catiean & Company for giving me the Amazing Blogger Award.
It is much appreciated and I will now list 7 more items about myself

1: I'm a cat person and have always lived with one or two
2: I have an addiction to jelly beans
3: My favourite flower is the pansy
4: I love dragonflies
5: I collect stuff...lots of stuff, probably too much stuff
6: My favourite beverage is diet coke, but I also love a good glass of Australian Shiraz
7: I really enjoy children's literature.

I have been busy trying to re-organized my studio, and I use the word loosely. You would not believe the condition, stuff everywhere. I see all the lovely work areas posted by other bloggers and wonder why my area never stays neat. I was hunting for a pair of fancy scissors two days ago and you would not believe the things I found. Items I didn't even know I had. Now, how scarry is that. The one resolution I have made this year, is to go through every box and shelf in my work room, as well as, the rest of the basement. It should be fun to see what treasures are lurking down in the dark recesses of my home.

Hi Karen, congratulations on your Award! It's great to learn more about you. We toast you with a nice glass of Aussie Shiraz, our red of choice too, well not Jacqui lol she's 17 and quite hasn't acquired red wine taste yet!! It's fun when you find things in a tidy up you didn't remember you had, keep searching, sounds like there are hidden treasures to be found! A great resolution, now to get started and finished!! Have a lovely weekend Karen :) Jenn and Jacqui

Congratulations on your award.
Thanks for sharing more about yourself with the 7 things about yourself.
Orgainizing your work area can be such a pain. Once you have cleaned it up and start creating again it looks the same as before you cleaned it.

Congratulations Karen! I've been cleaning up and sorting too. I think I'll make that my resolution too. No basement though. Thank goodness! I'd have it packed for sure!

Congrats on your award! My studio is in dire need of reorganizing too :) I think going on your "treasure hunt" through all those boxes will be enormous fun. Just think of all the inspiration in finding and rediscovering all the wonders packed away!

Don't worry about your studio, my area is never, ever tidy! I am constantly losing things. I am more creative when I am unruly, I think.

Thank you so much for your lovely comments about my puppy. They mean so much.

I love cats also. We have two. How many do you have? I understand about having stuff you don't know you have. I have been trying to reorganize my clutter and down size. I think your goal of going through every box is monumental but it could be so much fun. I think having a neat work area is pretty hard...a real studio would be grand...one you leave the house to go to.
Have a lovely New Year. Pat

Funny, but now that you mention it, I have never not had a cat or two in my life either!

COngratulations on your award!

I KNEW I liked you - I have a passion for jelly beans, too (or should I say a SERIOUS weakness)! =)

(I also had a blue persian when I was growing up. We named her Misty, as the day we brought her home it was misty oustide.) =)

Karen,
I've been working off and on all day on getting my craft area cleaned up. Believe me, it won't stay neat for long. I want a craft room that I can just shut the door when I am done for the day. I'm sure you'll be back to making pretty things again soon!

Hi Karen,
Your very deserving of your award and I am also trying to get things in order in my workroom. It's amazing how things can get so messy when trying to get just a couple of small projects finished.
I throw things all over the place lol.
