Snow, Inspiration and Magazines

Today was one of those stay at home days. It was cold, snowy and just the type of day to play or work inside. But, I did venture out to take some pictures in the back yard.

Winter Snow times Four

I spent the afternoon doing laundry and working on my art book of inspiration. I had a stack of magazines to go through and have now decide to cut out interesting ideas and paste them into my art book.

There was one magazine that I had to keep. The Martha Stewart Living December 2002 is so full of wonderful ideas and recipes I couldn't cut it up.

Sounds like a perfect day for flicking through magazines and having a lovely hot drink.

I have the same Martha Stewart magazine and you're right! It's too lovely to cut up! I love the idea of keeping a scrapbook of ideas though! I used to keep a journal in my television room to jot down ideas from craft shows.

Look at all your snow! What great pictures to capture the snowy day! Love what you are doing with you art book! Those page layouts are wonderful! I have a similar art binder that weighs about 30 lbs (or something like that!) :) so I can relate.

Thanks for stopping by and entering my giveaway!

Sounds like you had a lovely day Karen. I ripped my magazines up months ago and the bits I want to keep are still sitting in a big pile in the magazine basket!!!! I must get onto that! Rachael:)

I used to keep a little idea book like that. Probably I should drag it out and look at it again. Can't believe all that snow :)
