A Swashbuckler Soiree

Today is A Swashbuckler Soiree hosted by Donna over at The Ribboned Crown. This is going to be a grand affair with over 60 guests. Thank you Donna for hosting this lovely ball.

Now on with the show...

A list of my favourite Pirates

First is Captain Barbossa from Pirates of the Caribbean He is my very favourite pirate.

When we were in St Lucia last year the ship that was used as the Black Pearl, in Pirates of the Caribbean, came into port. Here are two pictures of the Black Pearl, aka the Jolly Roger.

Last is a few pages from a book on Pirates that I picked up in Tortola. There was a chapter of a Pirate Club on the Island.

Arrrhhh! Ahoy Lassie! Hope yer sailin's been smooth and your grog has been luke warm (I guess it's good that way, or they were all too messed up to notice there was no ice). I'm glad to see a picture of my Capt. Barbossa, the much overlooked but quite significantly Piratey Pirate! Now avast and yo ho ho, and I'll be sailin' by here again tomorrow...
