My First Amigurumi Dog

I have been working away on some projects and just finished my first Amigurumi. I had been looking for a pattern for a pug and came across a crochet pattern on Etsy. Jaravee sells some of the cutest patterns and the pug is so sweet. The pug was to be a Christmas gift, but I decided to make one for myself first. This way I could work out any problems I came across. I used worsted weight yarn and a 3.5 mm hook. The crochet needs to be tighter, so next time I will use a smaller hook.

Here are some pictures of my finished dog and a picture from a couple of days ago while he was in progress.

I have a few more projects that I have finished and some I'm working on.

Ah, he looks so sweet! He reminds me of that sweet pug that Betty Boop had, such a cutie in white and black! You are right to keep the first one yourself :-D!

He is just too cute for words. Loopy would be enamoured with him, she's into all things anime/Japanese-y lately.

Hi Karen,

Your little pug turned out charming. My friend Beth recently mentioned that these sorts of projects are becoming very popular again, and I've recently noticed books at the craft stores. It's interesting to see all the different interests that you have. Good luck with all your projects!
