Welcome to November

Today is the first of November and after the scary winds we had yesterday, many of the leaves are gone. This year the fall colour was absolutely spectacular. I have not seen colour like this for many years.

On Thursday we went to the yearly chrysanthemum show. On the way home we decided to check out two local areas with water falls. The trees were gorgeous and we managed to take some great pictures.

Here are two pictures I took at Webster's Fall
Webster's Falls
Webster's Fall
Fall is my favourite time of the year, I just love everything about it.

In Autumn
by Fannie Montgomery

They're coming down in showers,
The leaves all gold and red;
They're covering the little flowers,
And tucking them in bed.
They've spread a fairy carpet
All up and down the street;
And when we skip along to school,
They rustle 'neath our feet.

How beautiful! This is my favorite time of year. Thank you so much for your lovely charm in Saucy's Halloween charm bracelet swap. It was so much fun. I will wear it for years to come! So nice to meet you.

Your pictures are beautiful…
Webster’s falls looks like it is a wonderful place.

Our autumn was very dull this year; we had a lot of rain
and wind.
We usually get a blast of color, but this year it was hit and miss.
With a pretty tree here and there…

I miss fall leaves- it doesn't feel like fall here in the desert!

These colors! Just unbelievable! I love the seasons, winter is my least favorite, but it is hard to choose. Have a great day!

It's a cold, dreary Autumn morning here in Western New York. What better way is there to brighten it up a bit than to surf the Web and find wonderful blogs like yours? Beautiful Autumn pictures!
