TAST Week 1 Fly Stitch

I have finally finished my sampler for Week 1 of TAST (Take a Stitch Tuesday)

The first stitch was the Fly Stitch and I'v tried to do a few variation of the stitch. I am going to do all my weekly samplers in a 4 x 6 format and later will make a fabric book.

I'm looking forward to the new stitch next Tuesday

Beautiful sampler! I like the variety you've come up with. The "fern" is probably my favourite, it looks very life like.

I very much like that top right corner one. It's unique! Did you start at the bottom? I'm going to have to try that one!

Thanks for your visit. Your sampler is beautiful. The variations you have experiment are very interesting, especially the stitch at the top right and those in brown in the center.

Karen, what an amazing little book that will be! Love the red stitches, they look like a secret symbolic code... interesting!

Wow, there is sooo much that can be done with this stitch. I love the ones you have woven and the pink 'interlocked' ones (not sure what to call them) and the ferns, great work. Thanks for commenting on my blog.

Your fly stitch work is great! I didn't get started this week due to being out of town for the holidays and cannot wait to get home and start!

I also want to take a moment to invite you over to my blog to read about a quilt show I am hosting live on my blog beginning Feb 1. The show is called Crazy Quilts Are Quilts Too. The show is designed to bring awareness to all of us crazy quilters and the work we do! There are a host of fantastic prizes to be won! Hope you will come check out the information and hopefully participate!
